After over 14 years in the market, Entrust have made the decision to retire the nShield Edge product line from service. The End of Life of the nShield Edge HSMs is in effect from December 31, 2025.
Units will then be covered by Mainstream Support until December 31, 2027, after which Entrust will no longer provide firmware updates (except in the circumstances where the product is impacted by a Security Advisory released by Entrust) for the nShield Edge.
Beyond December 31 2027, a further 1 year of discretionary Extended Support may be available on request.
